My Approach

​From day one we will work together to uncover and develop goals that will help you to live the life you want. I believe mental health is more than the absence of illness, it is also about ensuring a sense of balance, self-acceptance, and finding your own recipe for happiness.  I draw upon a number of  approaches including Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, Psychodynamic therapy, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. All my work is trauma informed, and takes an anti-oppressive and anti-racist approach.

One of the unique aspects of my approach  is my sense of humour and how I weave it in to help clients develop insights and tame their fears. Therapy can be challenging at times, but I believe that laughter can be a special part of the healing process.
